Wesley Burt

I like his top piece because of its overall composition the small child with the glowing finger on the right, which in turn lights up his face The expression in both the girl in the middle and the guy bottom left. Not so convinced with the parts to the top but I like the way the shading controls the over all shape a lot especially where it is broken up by the smoke out of the top characters nose and the light patches within the shaded area.

The piece below I liked because of the main characters expression though his neck hat and face feel slightly broken from each other. The girls face is interesting too but overshadowed by the main character. The use of shading as an overall shape of the piece gives the piece a nice overall form and composition.
I wasn't as enticed by his other drawings I felt they were a bit too busy and detailed but perhaps that is my short coming from the mood I am in today.
